Our Therapy Services

At Integrative Psychotherapy, as the name suggests, we help clients engage in an integrative mind-body-focused healing experience so they can feel more balanced and centered in their day-to-day lives, regardless of their health history.

When we say “integrative mind-body-focused healing”, we mean that we don’t only focus on cognition and behavior, we also look at physiological healing, addressing the very root of the client’s challenge (that may not have shown up until triggered in adulthood), investigating and helping to heal the developmental gaps (trauma) at its core.

Each person that comes through our door is an individual, and as such, need personalized techniques. It is proven that the most successful long-term outcomes happen when a therapist has many science-based modalities or “tools in their tool-belt” to draw from, and can find just the right approach to best support each client, sculpted for their unique needs.

Since there are so many evidence-based approaches, it’s incredibly important to experiment with what works. If you’ve been to therapy before, you know that although one technique may do wonders for your friend, it may not help you at all.

As Dr. Judith Herman, trauma specialist and author of “Trauma & Recovery” is known to have said,  Therapy is definitely not “one-size-fits-all”.

Dr. Herman says that each therapist needs to have a pallet of interventions and techniques so they can meet the clients’ needs instead of making the client adjust to their skill-set. At integrative psychotherapy we are proud to be trained in a number of modalities so we can find the exact ways to helping you.

Here is what you will find in Integrative Psychotherapy’s ever-growing “tool belt”;
