As a Public Speaker

“What I valued most was her ability to connect with her audience in a very individual way.”

“Esther’s calm demeanor makes you want to listen to the entire lecture!!”

Yitty Deutsch, www.signatureeventsny.com

“I have listened to Esther speak on many occasions, but when I had the chance to interview her on Project Proactive’s Mental Health Monday Live, I really had the opportunity to witness the wealth of information and sensitivity that Esther brings to the table with her clients. The interview is informal and open to questions, and although it was not possible for Esther to prepare answers in advance but you would never have known that she didn’t. She was so engaging, and provided so much hope to the listeners that growth and change is possible. Months later I heard her speak at a conference for mental health professionals and she was equally engaging and prepared for any question.”

Yannah Jen Popovitz, Expressive Arts Therapist

As a Therapist

“I used to go to therapists who would talk and talk and told me how to change my thinking and change my behavior but I never actually “felt” better. I finally picked up the book “the body keeps the score” and realized that maybe there’s another way to get better than the standard CBT talk therapy.
I met Esther through a coworker and she said I need to try therapy with her. I am so happy I did. If you’re in therapy and you're not getting better, it might be because you're not with the right person, or because they aren't using the right method for you. Esther is highly skilled in the field of trauma, family struggles and anxiety and she helped me tremendously.”

“If only I knew Esther ten years ago, my entire life would have been different. I had gone from therapist to therapist who either told me I’m “too much” or my issues were “too big” and with Esther I finally found someone who thought she could help me. I don’t know if it’s just her brains (she’s really smart!) or if it was her commitment to helping me find hope and relief that helped me finally begin living life again.
I had bad anxiety and trauma and Esther helped me understand what was going on, explained how I wasn’t crazy, and also used some cool therapy methods that helped me change in a real way. My life isn't perfect but it is so much better than It ever was. I tell everyone I meet that the right therapist is the biggest gift.”

“Esther has been a real resource for me at one of the most difficult phases of my life. I needed someone to be a sounding board, a steady base and a warm emotional place where I could figure out what to do next and how to navigate some really tough issues with my family and at work.  I made some real progress doing work with Esther. Being understood was the most helpful part of being in therapy. It might have been one of the very few times I really felt heard and understood. Oh, and I love that Esther helps her clients “graduate” from therapy and doesn't just keep them there for years on end. As she always says, “I want you to go built and live your life”. “

(W. L.)

“My wife went to Esther when she had very confusing symptoms that were not going away. She was recommended because she focused not just on the mind but also the body. It is truly fascinating to see how the therapy helped my wife to become a different person. Our whole home environment changed. My wife is much calmer with the kids and I feel like I can finally connect with my wife again. I never was a believer in therapy but I think I am one now!”

(A.R.)

“I hated the idea of going to talk to someone because I was forced to talk to someone for years when I was younger and it never helped. I finally went because I heard such great things about Esther and I’m so glad I did. She is so down to earth, so friendly, so real and so inviting. She’s also funny and it helped to have that light feeling so the therapy didn't feel like a drag. I love that even though she works with trauma she has such a happy, upbeat energy. It was contagious and I think I’ve become a little bit like that ( which is a good thing !). I am so happy I went to therapy. I had to leave because I was moving abroad but that time I went really helped me figure some deep stuff out and I used to leave sessions feeling really resolved.

(R.F.G.)

“Therapy cannot always make your life better but it can make “you” better. That's what I learned with Esther and that really helped me make changes in the way I felt about myself, my family and some things I was facing. Even when life is hard, I can see how making myself a healthier person was a really good investment. I’m so happy I was in good care and that I learned such good lessons that I am keeping with me”.

(Y.P.)

I wouldn't have been able to get married if I hadn't been referred to Esther. I had crippling anxiety and OCD and she had such a calm, creative approach to her treatment with me. She didn't label me but rather helped me get to the core of why I had these issues. My symptoms lessened by 90% that I was able to get married and get pregnant with my baby. I wish all the people who struggle with anxiety know that there is good help out there. And if Esther isn't the right person for you, she will help you find someone who can help. She’s a great person to know.

(R.R.)

I love when therapists are human and Esther is so much like that. She doesn’t pretend she is better than you or like you're dumb for needing help. She really is humble and values people, and also has a keen way of understanding struggle and hardship. I really felt so safe speaking with her. If you need someone to speak with who will just give you a warm feeling ( who also has a lot of ways to help you), try Esther.
