At times, our pain and experiences can feel isolating. It may seem as though nobody understands. We fear that we may never get out of the cycle and trauma we are entrapped in. The Torah provides us with everything we need, including how to live our daily lives and what steps we can take to set ourselves up for success. It is also a historical storybook. A place where we can look back and reflect on how our history impacts us.

We can look at the stories of those who came before us and turn to them for guidance. We can relate to our forefathers and our ancestors as we navigate similar struggles, big or small. We can find solace in seeing their light at the end of the tunnel as we await ours.

Our Monthly Mental Health Awareness Calendar highlights themes, important dates, and historical events related to mental health that arise during each month on the Jewish calendar.
